Friendship

This week has brought devastation to many in the path of the Cumberland River — the Grand Ole Opry and the surrounding area were under water.  It’s heart-wrenching, the damage flooding can do.  Keep the flood victims in your prayers.

Part of being a snowbird is sharing the winter with folks from different areas.  Some of our friends and extended family are in the Nashville area.  We are also fans of country music.

At MyPicTales, May’s Featured Designer is Kalo Designs.  You can find Citrus Explosion kit, a paper pack and a  coordinating alpha in the MPT Design Center.  I’ve created a layout using the kit and wordart from Bethany at Scrapbook Graphics.

Wow, I sent off over 100 digital single page layouts to MyPicTales this week!  It will be wonderful having them in my albums — and I have more to get ready.  My next project is to create a Wire-O Bound Photo Book; I think it will be perfect for photos of my granddaughter — I think I’ll have one done for her other grandma as well.  Happy Mother’s Day to all Moms!

As Ever,
Pam

May’s Featured Designer: Kalo Designs

Then, scrap scrap with this fresh, fun kit, Citrus Explosion. Kalo Designs has also brought us a paper pack and coordinating alpha. All are on sale for {inter}national Scrapbooking Day!

Memories on My Wall

Have you visited the MyPicTales Design Center?  There are many beautiful backgrounds to use in your scrapbooking projects, as well as some delightful premium graphics.  There are Quick Pages that are ready to have printed once you add your photos and journaling; how easy is that?

There are wonderful user guides for creating photobooks, calendars and cards.  The free TaleWeaver design software will enable you to create professionally designed, richly customized photo books.  The photo calendars and card software offer customization – all elements of your photo calendars and cards can be fully customized.  You can begin a calendar this month – no need to go back to January!  I’ve started a birthday calendar for my daughter — May 2010 to April 2011.

This month’s featured designer is DeDeSmith, bringing us two paper Stackz with Scatterz and element clusters.  They are great for creating fast photo book pages and you can use them in TaleWeaver.  I’ve been told that I’m supposed to start and finish a project before moving on to another, but that just isn’t me!  I have several quilts in various stages of completion, as well as scrapbooking projects.  I love unique photo frames and enjoy creating layouts to feature on my walls.

The photo brings memories of a wonderful day with our son and his wife.  I’ve used Clusterz, Stackz and Scatterz from featured designer DeDeSmith, to which I’ve added wordart from Studio Bethany at Scrapbook Graphics.  Just like that — a completed project — I think I’ll have two printed, one for our wall and one for theirs!  Now, on to another Unfinished Project . . .

As ever,
Pam
